Someone's gonna discover his body, most likely that girl student who shows up on p.12-14. She only went back to the classroom because she'd forgotten something. Look at the carefree note coming out of her head. She's an innocent soul, cheerful, full of optimism for the future. She has no idea that in a few minutes time, her life is gonna take a sharp turn towards "Dead Body City". That's already something that'll scar her for life. But she might even turn him over to see if he's still breathing, only to be met with a mashed-up face from where his head hit the ground. Double-whammy scarring. Who knows how much counselling she's gonna need to get over that, how much torment she'll have to suffer through over the years. For all we know, they could've been in the same class. She might feel immense guilt for not doing something for him sooner, for not seeing that he was in pain. Spending time with her friends and family will provide brief respite. She'll forget about him for a period, remember that she's still a young girl, remember that her days at school will be the best of her life. But when she's alone, the double-whammy scarring will creep back into her mind. She'll be trying to study, and the image will appear on the paper. She'll be trying to sleep, and the image will appear every time she closes her eyes. She'll cry. Others will try to comfort her, saying over and over that it isn't her fault. There's nothing she could've done. She should move on with her life. But she won't. Their words won't heal her.

And his family, Jesus Christ, what about his dad? His mother? They're just gonna be going about their day like nothing has happened. The dad will be at work, doing his job, interacting with his coworkers, not even thinking once about his son. The mother will be at home, doing housework, watching TV, wondering what she should cook for her family tonight. She might go into her son's room, feel both embarrassed and amused upon discovering his porno magazines. She might have a peek through them to discover his interesting tastes. She might put them into a neat pile on his desk to tease him when he gets home. Because he's gonna come home later, right? He's gonna walk through the front door in a few hours, isn't he? He's gonna come in, and she's gonna ask him about his day. He'll give a short, tired answer, before retreating to his room. "That's youth for you," she'll think, smiling as she thinks of earlier times, of her childhood.

And then the phone will ring, or the doorbell will chime. She'll wonder who it could be. Maybe her husband. Maybe a friend. Maybe her son coming home. She'll pick up the phone, or open the front door. She'll be told that her son, her one and only child, is dead. She'll be told that it was suicide, that he'd jumped off the school roof. She'll go numb with shock as she takes in what she's hearing. Her little boy is gone forever. No goodbye, no note, no nothing. She'll never know what was going through his head, or why he'd do such a thing. She'll go through the rest of her life asking questions, but never getting answers. His death will haunt her for the rest of her days. She'll think to herself about how she should've done something, how she should've spotted the signs. But it's too late now. She knows it. And it hurts.

Crap ending. As somebody said previously -- what about the parents and other family members?

Here's a different way it could have ended. The protagonist could have woken up in a hospital and survived. Knowing he wanted to die he tries to commit suicide again but is stopped. How? 1. the girl ghost stops him as a ghost because she feels he should live on -- OR his parents show up and stop him making him realize that his parents does love him -- I.E the story would end with him thinking that he would live a full life for both of them but that ONE day they would reunite again when he dies from old age. Maybe even a scene could happen where he dies as a very old man with lots f grandchildren having the ghost girl wait for him and THEN go to heaven.

Or as he survived the girl Ghost could be reborn as his daughter or maybe a little sister.
