I was curious too, so I looked a bit into it. Looks like its an original character from the artist. Its from his webcomic called "Megiddo Heights". Not sure were to find it the website says coming soon but it has a copyright from 2006-2010. His deviantartaccount is full of pictures but no page from the webcomic.
