I guess he mounted the iso (for example with daemonTools), then he extracted the folder containing the image set. The other @factory cosplay set, the Sakuya one, was structured that way, so I think this one isn't too different.

you can also extract pics from .iso using winrar
usually the disc that the .iso is made from just has an autorun script which loads the disc/gallery in html browser window.
more advanced methods use java gallery which take time to extract. but usually its just a deeper folder with some image in another format
