It could lead into that: he could transform further into a more studly beast like a werewolf. I mean, the comic so far had him go from Beast-Boy to "Whatcha Talkin' About" 70's Stud with those hairy af sideburns and complete with gaudy af huge 70's chain lmao.

For me, I'm just hoping for some impregnation. That and the dude continues his Owl House comic (mfer literally paused it right at the point of the shortstack deciding to have a sex-battle with the deuteragonist).
