One, it was not street-fighter, but final fight (the 80s/90s beat'em up)
Two, that thing about poison being trans only in USA is a myth, even the original concept arts has Poison as "newhalf" (japanese slang for trans people).
The version that outright changed poison and roxy for two dudes was the snes version, with billy and sid (and the character sprites are vastly different.)
