Curious fact: if the filename startst with "sample_" - that's a resample of the original file, downscaled - usually quite heavily - to fit some arbitrary conditions.
Like "serving as a thumbnail", exempli gratia.

Ergo, I posit that this gallery is nothing more than a collection of resampled thumnails from this very site.
