Caixos is absolutely right. Caduceus is Hermes' winged staff. That's fairly common knowledge, surprised sawaru mixed it up. Caduceus is even more well known because of how often it's thought of to be similar to "that medical symbol', AKA the rod of Asclepius. (although because of such frequent confusion, Caduceus kind of does have some association with medicine now, if only because of said mixups).

Very good work getting this translated, I have to wonder about the naming bit regarding the shoes, that might be on the Japanese side how they got named. So the translator would have a choice of retconning and from here on naming the shoes properly, but not be the same as what the Japanese version said.
Personally I think that if it's an error on the part of the original author, that if they knew the proper names, they'd have it fixed.
Also is this just two chapters so far?

In regards to your immortality question: Greek gods were never immortal, just overpowered to the point that they seemed immortal.

Depending on which story/source you're referencing: (for example) Poseidon could only be killed if humans stopped using/caring about the ocean. Since the Greeks lived (mostly) on islands, that obviously wasn't going to happen, thus "immortality".

But in another story/source: Zeus straight up kills Asclepius (God of Medicine) because Asclepius pissed off Zeus's brother. Think: God of War the video game.
