Not to be offensive to the people who like vore but i actually never understood it, i can see why guro and scat could be related to sexual content but i could never make the connection between sexual arousal and eating someone whole, i can understand other food related stuff obviously. Maybe i just don't see the appeal, and no i don't enjoy guro or scat i just can see why people would like it.

To sum it up, if you ask 10 people why they like vore, you'll get 11 answers. Vore is practically a family of fetishes all tied together by the common theme of "living creature gets consumed somehow by other living creature".

Some people like the aspects of domination, humiliation, and even fear or cruelty - those people tend to like things like scat, digestion (even of the realistic kind), bad smells, chewing, and so on.

Some people like the aspects of intimacy, trust, and an idealized "pleasant" sensation, and they tend to gravitate away from thingss that are unpleasant like your skin melting off and drowning to death in acid, getting shat out, and so on (or, at the very least, they try to spin these things in such a way that they're pleasant instead).

Others fall somewhere in the middle and enjoy different things to different degrees.

The three "main" types of vore are size difference (also called giantess, some prefer shrinking or giantess and some don't care), same-size, and monster.

These tend to scratch different non-vore related fetishes - some people like huge bellies, so they'll gravitate towards same size. Some people like size differences, so they'll gravitate towards that. Some like the idea of a person struggling against a beast or monster, complete with all the themes of fear and mindless predation that come with it.

Some will like just one of these types of vore, some will enjoy a couple, and some will enjoy all three, depending on how broad their fetishes are.

There's more exotic stuff too, like absorption and different orifices (usually the vagina, dick, or anus), but I think you get the gist of it at this point.
