If they were protected by copyright law within the US, absolutely, you'd have to take them down. But they're not - unlike this comic.

Here's something perhaps more poignant for you to consider than copyright law: Posting this comic without permission reduces the chance another one will ever be produced, due to financial restrictions on the artist that this comic's sales help alleviate. If you enjoy the comic and want to see more, do not post it without permission.

You realize posting here means more exposure right. I never heard of you before I found this comic. And chances are neither do many of the people here. Besides its not like any of us were going to buy the comic to begin. You are looking at this from a very shallow perspective. I suggest you watch this to know what I mean.

Also if you're wondering why I left out the thank you pages its because I didn't have them if I had them i would have posted it as well. And another thing funny how you speak of copyright when you are using characters created by Nintendo and profiting off them.

Actually, yeah, Nintendo's fine with the comic. It's protected by parody law, so as long as it isn't so offensive to them that they feel the need to really go after it hard, then they have no issue.

I can't eat or pay my bills with "exposure." I don't except commissions on payment of "exposure," god knows people have tried to pay me in that. Exposure is the lie you tell artists and yourself in order to be unreasonable to them and their situation. If it was up to people like you there would be laws against paying artists as you must see it as some sort of 8th sin for artists to get compensated for their work. Also fun fact, a dollar for an artist is not somehow worth more than it is in the hands of another person, so my 800$ a month on patreon is not a large amount and does not somehow equal to 1,600, no matter how "astonished" you act.

I am not some huge publisher or some porn site, I am a one man making this comic and running my patreon. I barely get by and you guys posting my work on the web for free is not helping me pay my bills.
