Last time I read on her deviantart page, a friend of her said she was taking a break or decided to stop drawing this kind of stuff. Whatever the case maybe it was hard for her to express herself about leaving it or the community.

Where did you hear that she passed away? ...or are you just assuming so since she disappeared? Petite-emi was one of my all-time favorite artists, and I'm hoping beyond hope that someday she replies to my commission request that I sent just before she disappeared. Words cannot describe how much I love her art, in particular the sequences in images 2 and 7.

Some of this pics were posted about a month ago on her tumblr, considering her last post before that was about a year ago, I'd say it's likely we will be seeing more new stuff from her.
