I was wondering about that, they don't rewind time. They just transfer into another universe at that starting point with memories of what happened. That means they fucked up a bunch of universes and maybe even time & space unless completing the wish repairs the other universes.
It's a little fucked that you could make an endless wish like this for someone else and they'll never know it, but they didn't and probably still don't know all the details.
The 2 guys stuck in the loop are kind of dicks anyways, they deserve everything that's happening to them. Maybe they'll learn to better themselves as time goes on.
