I will never understand why the police apparently doesn't exist in these kinds of Manga. And if it does, they don't do shit or help the villains in some way instead. Same thing like rape victims being blackmailed with video evidence of being raped by their rapists, it just doesn't make sense. At least the mother didn't get mindbroken here. I would still like to see some Karma, though. Justice Porn is way too rare.

I thought of that too, but then I remembered that she offered to have sex with someone who very well may have been a minor. If she rats on him, he rats on her. There's a chance she'd be thrown in prison and her son would be without a mother. Even if she did get off without a prison sentence, there's the family shame thing which is even worse in Japan than it is in some other parts of the world.
