@Sibushang Actually, I can think of one. They're not as "mainstream", but they're certainly a very popular couple with little to no haters: Shiki Ryougi and Mikiya Kokutou from the garden of sinners / Kara no Kyoukai. They also have an adorable daughter together.
Even their voice actors are a couple and married during the production of the movies.

@mambu Dude, NaruHina was pretty obvious from the beginning of the story. I could never see Sakura and Naruto actually getting together, not to mention that they don't fit each other at all and Sakura having a horrible personality. I guess you would also be mad if Ichigo and Orihime were confirmed a couple at the end of Bleach instead of Rukia?
@Hecatom Yeah, it's pretty obvious. That was my point. I don't get why people got mad that Sakura and Naruto didn't become a couple when it was so obvious that it would never happen. The same thing goes for Ichigo and Rukia.

Its great to ship a pairing that was forced and the author never had any intention in making it canon but he was obliged to do it because of the pressure coming from the crazy fandom, the anime studio and all the money he'll be earning if he does follow Naru/Hina yeah they make such a cute couple.

From how Bleach has developed, i think that Ichigo and Orihime are the most likely couple (though the romance is very lacking). Ichigo has stated that what he feels for Rukia is respect and gratitude for opening his path to protect those who he loves.

The hints where there from the very begining. It was not forced at all.
For example, from all his peers, Naruto only opened to Hinata about his insecurities. ell, on the original raft the main team consisted of Kakashi, Naruto and Hinata, neither sakura or sasuke existed, they were added by petition of the editors.
Those who said that it was forced were not paying attention at all.

Plus their relationship has been expanded on various of the novels that happen between the end of the war and the last, and those are canon.
