For anyone planning on making purchases at dlsite in the future. Please stop for a moment and make sure that work isn't available at dmm or melonbooks. If it's available there, please compare the file sizes and the previews. It's very likely that dmm or melonbooks will have a less censored version of the work.

For me it's been the opposite, dlsite just won't accept my card while with dmm I don't even need to use a proxy.

Well, it's easy to offer up fake money for somebody else to buy these things ;) For those who do try to support the artists, here's how it really works:
1 You go to the site and you see the product listed in the newest tags
2 You try to click on it and it's restricted from your region
3 You access the site through a proxy and add it in the cart, but now their fraud protection is triggered and rejects your card
4 You go through a password confirmation thing which doesn't help
5 You contact their useless help team which just says a bunch of things could cause the problem, none of which apply

6 Go to DLsite and bought the product for the exact same price using the exact same card.

Also, while this indeed has less censorship (uncensored assholes), the title card is actually less censored in the DLsite version!

I liked DMM's recent price incentives, but those expired and these last few weeks it's been DLsite offering the discounts (lots of old stuff is half off recently).
