Faux-drider females are parasitic, they merge their bodies with a host, and imprint their instincts onto the host's mind. The spider gains two main benefits from the merging. 1. A higher level of intelligence vastly improves it's chances when hunting for food. 2. The humanoid torso is useful for luring other women who can then be transformed into Faux-drider males by implanting mutagenic eggs inside their wombs. The males then fertilizes and protect the female. Guarding her like worker bees in a hive.

Spider bodies are divided into two portions: The cephalothorax and the abdomen. The head, mouth, brain, eyes, and legs are all part of the cephalothorax. They do not have three portions like an insect, and their legs do not come out of the non-existent middle portion nor abdomen. The artist has drawn the symbol of a spider that their brain remembers, not an actual spider.
