@Lazarus friends: while I'm extremely grateful for all you're doing, this time honestly this is hardly good because of the poor image quality. Not blaming you once you've made a new version.
But, still, please allow me to recommend you try this in Photoshop:
Image > Adjustments > Shadows/Highlights
You will find this is THE thing you need to fix the poor printing and bring life to the images of the current series.

Like, seriously, please, do take a look, guys.

EDIT: I thought it would be more constructive with images. Taking the same image, cropping, making it the same height for comparisons.

(I hope that's not sounding too arrogant, but I've done LOTS of retouching for my hentai shares on my blog - too bad e-hentai doesn't allow to post alternative versions with retouched scans, or you'd see me more on ehentai -, and I'm fairly confident in what I wrote. Seriously, Lazarus team, try it.)

Thanks for the release but the levels could still use some work, you can see on page 37 that she loses her mouth entirely among other details.

Seems like there's alot of smoothening of the screentones as well, was this intentional or did it happen because of the resize from the raws?

IMO my experienced has definitely been ruined, it's not at laruffi levels but it's real unfortunate especially since Oliver has shown that it can be positively improved.

The Fueta Kishi I know has plenty of curve defining shadows and tones that I love

My fellow fappers and fappettes,

We have corrected the leveling of what was the chapter 1 of this doujin series and are satisfied with it. True, there are some minor differences from the RAW, but it is not something that should ruin the overall experience or artwork. As such we would like to be recognized for our hard work and at least be thanked for working on something that went untouched for months. At this time we feel that the chapter 1 does not need anymore work done and hope you will enjoy it all the same.

@AwwGasm Smoothing of screentones here is probably the result of denoise filters, an easy shortcut for people who don't want to actually clean raws and/or don't want to preserve details.

The bad editing that Lazarus / Lusty Lady honestly infuriates me. It's actively bad; they go out of their way to make things WORSE, which NO OTHER scanlation group does. Their disrespect and contempt toward artists is maddening.

@wavedash Thanks for the clarification, the blur is really off putting. I can't really imagine why anyone would want to make it look like a bad b&w word document gradient fill.

I really didn't want to be rude but the raw scans without any edits and just the translation (thanks CovertOpsBoobs) would have been better than this.

I do not want to contribute to the quality drama, only to point out that uploading different doujins on the same gallery can get very confusing and some people might miss the new doujin thinking it's just a minor update to the old gallery.

It is always better for everybody to upload different doujins in different galleries.

Yes, the image quality could be better, but at least they TRY to provide us something good here, with the amount of time that they have. Not everyone is a full-time free translator/image editor here, isn't it?
And there's not many problems translation-wise (unlike Laruffi), so let's not be too picky here. If anything, I'm thankful that they do something at all. At least the image quality is not the most horrible.

Harsh criticism is the easiest when the only effort you make is bashing at your keyboard. If you are so disturbed by the oh-so-terrible-image-quality and you have the skills to fix it, why don't you do it for them? Then we lowly readers can be spared the drama and be grateful to all of you experts.
