"Chai" refers to a sort of tea, it seems. On page 5 he uses an intentionally bad pun to correct his answer by combining "just kidding" with "it's tea".
So he basically says something like "just kidd-TEA-ng" (in Japanese: "Nanchatte" -> "NanchaTEA").

Also, I'm pretty sure the title "KawaMasu" is a reference to "AiMasu" which is Japanese shorthand for "Idolmaster".

yeah, this does deserve the gender bender tag. but that's the wrong fucking one! the gender of the tag is based on the original gender of the one being bent! so it shouldn't be female gender bender, it should be male.
