China's market is as big as japan in terms of potential buyers, if not much bigger ! (China has a massssssive adult manga fan base). If the good of creators is in mind, then it shouldn't be released for chinese likewise !
I hate it when people quickly get behind ~ Protecting Creator's interest~ to justify releasing stuff to a certain group and denying the rest ! Poor excuse !

Not sharing raws seems like such a petty move, what's stopping people from just translating the Chinese release. If you want to "protect" the author, don't pirate it in the first place? Doujinshis are cheap (in absolute terms, relative per page, not so much), I think those Japanese that care about the author's financial state will buy it, those that don't will just fap to something else that's free.

There's really no reason to be giving Makita misaki such a hard time about this. He has uploaded a bunch of raws himself, so it's very clear that he doesn't share the same views as his provider. Whether or not you agree with the "protecting" idea doesn't really matter in this situation. If someone outside of his team provides him with a scan and requests that he doesn't upload the raw for some reason, it would make no sense for him to upload the raw anyway and lose that person as a provider.

The only wrong thing that his team did was with the wording of their message, which is perfectly understandable. "The Raw will never be uploaded" sounds much more harsh and confrontational than he probably intended, judging by how polite he is in his responses here. Something like "Our provider requested for us to not upload the raw" would be much better.
