This was the first doujin cover (that I know of) Asanagi put out where it looks like things might be different and then it quickly turns into his typical fare. Maybe he has some other works that I don't know about, but the Victim Girls series has long run its course already. At this point the Victim Girls series nothing more than another name for "Asanagi hentai works".

Oh yeah, the art is great as always. Personally, I think THAT is his best trait. The art is (mostly) consistent between works. (He puts in a LOT more details now compared to his earlier works) Theres pretty much no Asanagi work you can point at and say "the artwork sucked for this one".

Honestly, I feel Asanagi's works are getting tamer.

As someone mentioned before, the last really brutal one was probably the TERA parody, where it had women farms, slavery, and implied/shown guro.

Heck, even that one Asanagi entry in the Bestiary series in a few pages was more hardcore than a lot of his more recent works.

But I agree, no matter what, his artwork is still what makes his doujins a must-have.

Asanagi's work, tamer? If you're talking about the TERA one, I don't especially find this one "nicer". True, the story doesn't emphase on the girls' fate, but when you see the last pages, it's definitely not an envious one.

Seems like their energy/level is sucked by the dungeon so that it can spawn more powerful monsters (they were level 5 at the beginning and suddenly, it seems to have become 1 at the end). And when you see the details on page 30, you can have a glimpse of what happens if they stay there too long; they get sucked inside the dungeon, which can be the same as being "eaten".

Aizu has her right arm cut off and she's completely beaten. That's not joke as well. I really don't see this less brutal than the previous ones. I believe the translation will show this even more easily.
