Snuff needn't be gory (neck breaking, asphyxiation, drowning, poison), but it's true that there's nothing to explicitly suggest or require the snuff tag here. The last page is a bit suggestive that she is consumed, and therefore dead, so I can see why someone used that tag.

I bet the art is intentionally ambiguous so that the viewer can draw their own conclusion, whichever suits their fancy.
