This short one is about kiriko and futa shinon.

A shame thin books without colored cover aren't better represented here.

Because covers are such a pain to tear off the book, so before I find a cheap guillotine, I will start to scan one without a cover within my collection.
In term of quality and compression, I did my best to get the best quality/size ratio. Double pages are scanned in png 256 grayscale at 600dpi, rotated, split in 2 and rescaled 50% using imagemagick (fully automated shit, like the scanner).
I still need to optimize the png, I wanted to redo the above in TIFF and then convert in png using pngcrush but I did not found a binary of this one and it is a pain to compile on windows. If anyone has a binary of this one, I would gladly take it. I will also gladly take any not-retarded experience in scanning and image optimization.
Edit: should fill image name with 000~ in order to have a good ordering.
