currently cant add the other 800 files because i divided them into different zip files and uploaded part 1 first
it now gives me this message when i try adding

This gallery cannot be added to in its current published state, since external galleries might be using it. If you wish to add files to it, the system will create a copy for you which can be altered freely. However, you will need to update all external links and galleries that point to it.

You messed up. You shouldn't have publish the gallery that's why you are getting that message. You where supposed to upload and add more. Not upload and continue. Because you also gotta remember you can only update 2 times then got to wait another 30 days. So next time upload everything then publish. So when you get that message just continue, but remember not to keep doing it after twice. Good job though.
