Please don't convert JPG into PNG.
Jpeg artifacts are still there and increase file size for same quality is the worst.
Just upload with JPG or rip properly.
For people who didn't even notice those artifacts: buy a new display.

edit: I'm ok with lossless PNG and lossy JPG, but lossy PNG... What's the point?
Keep format until you actually edit the images for decensoring or something.

That's ok but only for event CG's. But it irks me (and many others) to see char images in JPG format since it's a chore to clean the background.
