This author is one of the few if not the only Japanese doujinshi artist that actually takes a lot of time to talk to his western fans. He has an english twitter, tumblr etc to talk with us and is trying to translate his new stuff into English to sell to us. This is really rare for a Japanese artist to do so if you have a few bucks to spare buy his stuff instead to support him.

Rebis is probably the only H-artist I know who can actually sort of speak English (or read-write) and shows genuine interest in trying to translate and market his work outside of Nippon land. Butcha-U is sort of trying to do the same, but his English ain't good and can't get his point across unlike Rebis.

So, yeah, once he starts official translations, he'll actually start making more money because unlike other H-artists, he'll have a way bigger market.

@Rebis: It's wonderful to do your own translations since they'll be your words and your voice, but to truly reach an international audience outside of Japan, seeing your works uncensored would send everyone into a happy frenzy. Please continue drawing brown girls like Manya, with penises too.

piracy is a double edge sword

on the one hand, there are those who never intend to pay, but may through their actions, spread your work to those who have the integrity to buy your works (with so many artists, so many works, finding those that i like among them takes a very long time, even in a single magazine, which can take a full hour)

on the other hand, pre internet, works from japan very rarely reached a global audience, limiting sales for many artists (especially niche artists with limited audience in japan, would find more sales overseas) i pirated the famous Naruto (halfway to end), yet purchased most of the physical books (not all, due to booksale closures & shrinking bookshelf space)

here's a tip: writing with spaces between kanji words maks it far easier to read (& volunteers to translate) separating haragana & katakana into distinct words helps too. finally, using romaji (western characters for japanese words) makes it possible for beginners to read your books in original language

btw, i fully plan on buying your works in the future (the "free" translators left whole blocks of text, as well as sound effect untranslated), spread the word to your fellow manga-ka at the next comiket

p.s. since you have works here, maybe you could request that the site administrators could pay you a fraction of the sites ad revenue & advertise your works here
