So here’s a small teaser of something I hope to complete before I die. This is the first time I’m attempting a novel-like translation, so I’m not sure if I will release everything in one go, or perhaps in chunks at reasonable transitions in the story. In my opinion you should move at whatever pace is least stressful for you and only make the releases either when your satisfied with your progress or just need to step back and take a breather for awhile.

It'll be done when it's done and I will happily await the results.

I'll agree with Hezard on this. I've considered novels in the past as well, but can never bring myself to start one. Translate and release at whatever pace you're most comfortable with, that fits your schedule, and that doesn't stress you out. Let it be finished when you finish it and everyone worth giving it to will be happy to read it when it's done.
