I don´t get the end. Did Souryuu die or something? Was that a flashback to how they started out? Its very confusing if the book wants to have a story, but isn´t willing to draw any more pages than necessary for it.

I dont know the japanese part but it looks similar to the quest in Kantai for assembling the Carrier Division. Since Souryou and Hiryuu are both the 2nd Carrier Division, Like Akagi and Kaga are 1st Carrier Division it prob says 2nd Carrier Division or an abbreviation of that.

thanks so much and I also only cleared E-5, although I got really lucky since I only needed 1 more kill on last day of event but then got a string of bad luck and took 10 tries to finish boss off. The CAs kept on missing/non critting in night battle and I was down to 5 buckets and 1k Fuel from 150/15k at event start when I finally got the kill. Cannot believe the last kill was so hard since I managed to sink her 100% of the other times I made it to boss.
