It really is a huge problem for artists in japan. You can actually face jail time and substantial fines (several million yen) just because they failed to censor their own material. Did you know that the article that requires obscene material to be censored in that way actually violates the Japanese Constitution's provisions for freedom of expression and protection from formal censorship?

How their courts interpreted Article 175 to be constitutional after being presented an argument like that is beyond me.

A real shame too. Cosine has a real talent when it comes to this (If you've seen the decensors, you know).
