I had tried to convince the artist to stop using copy protection, but I was unable to convince him. The instantaneous piracy of his first book released on DLsite (at least in a while) caued him to switch to copy protection, and even after metnioning that it's a pain in the ass and not perfect anyway (as seen with this gallery), he still would rather have some sense of security and a modest deterrent than to just concede completely.

Until he can find some peace of mind and has a change of mind, he has no plans to remove copy protection. Being a legal customer, copy protection is a motherfucking bitch. Showing him some rspect and not pirating at least for a while may be the best option to convince him to remove the copy protection. It sucks, but most situations suck.
