Wow, the extra chapter to the enslaved couple's story was incredibly nasty, even by Hal's standards. Nothing like showing a girl her boyfriend's remains to get her on the mood!

Page 228 made me laugh quite a bit, There is only a couple of authors who could pull a "who suffered the most" contest with it having fierce competition.

inugamikun: hal did put some thought into this. It's just that the thought was not, "does this make sense?" but rather "how can I make this dark and twisted as fuck?" And that single minded dedication to making fucked up stories beyond all reason is why I fucking love hal.

edit: @ Battousai, the hobo got the kid by surprise and it's not shown what exactly happened, the hobo could have had a weapon or something and all the nice beds and nutrients in the world don't matter when a dude comes at you with a weapon, determined to use it, and you are not at all ready for them. Plus the point of the story seems to be that the guy and his girlfriend are just petty punks who pick on helpless people, but the hobos are actually dangerous people (like seriously what kind of person knows where to sell a dude into slave labor?) and they're way beyond their league. Basically they're all talk.

I read the Idol chapters and the girl that gets raped by the hobos and the one with the dolls earlier, but the rest really don't pull their punches either, the stories are FUBAR (Fucked Up Beyond Any Repair) but the sex is most times, hot as hell, only thing that really bothers me is the scene where the hobos beat the boyfriend of the girl (Girl's Seed story) there is no way that even 2 hobos are physically more in shape and stronger than a guy who has enough nutrients and a good place to sleep and when his survival instincts would have kicked in he would've beaten their asses to hell and back, but the rest is actually plausible when you think about it there are people as fucked up as this.

I'm glad the author did the bit at the end. Seeing the girls all alive and okay having a silly contest about who suffered the most in their story makes it easier to "enjoy" the darkness of the rest of the manga. Even for fantasy these stories are dark. A little light helps. Though I like the end of the idol arc: there's a tragic sweetness to it.

Page 191: Ok, he's here to kill you and that's scary, but...now you know he's there. Call the cops and turtle up, or double team him, or use the wealth of stuff in your house to fight him back. He's a murderer, but he's not some badass action hero, he's just a regular dude, and you've got so many advantages against him!
There are so many ways out of this that the foreboding, imminent-horrible-death atmosphere is completely inaccurate. Step it up, hal.

@ qweqweqwe1233: Not really...

To me, it's people who give too much thought about fictional materials, thus making it more real than it actually is, that have real mental issues.
Fiction is fiction, those who mix it with reality to make a point are kinda off-topic.

Killing turtles in Mario doesn't make you a sick-fuck with animal-barbaric thoughts...

Out of all the series, Idol Decay brings more to the table involving the moral consequences. I hated the main protagonist Kagohara from the beginning, but I didn’t realize that she abused by her own mother and brings more abuse to her fellow member from the beginning. It brought some light to this story when there is no good within record companies, but there will always be corruption within everyone one of them. People who are higher than the coach, they are more corrupted than they appeared to be in reality. It’s a twisted reality when I read the three separate chapters, but it brought reality into it. I never expect the backstabbing by Kounosu. Man, this has some dark stuff with a moral that that there will always be two-face ready to betray anyone. I thought the other two girls are innocent instead they downgraded themselves into whores to get what they wanted.

I don’t know who’s fault it is, but it is everyone’s fault and not to mention that her father needed to notice about it. I couldn’t blame him since he wasn’t aware about it, but I respected each character. Since this one doesn’t have any protagonists or antagonists since it actually makes more sense in a surrealistic way, but it has a hint of a slice of life. Kagohara is very much of a bully, but every bully has an origin to begin with that they are ashamed to tell anyone. I could feel bad for her from the end after what happened.

Kounosu, my god! She is a true antagonist, but I thought she was a victim of Kagohara’s bullying instead I take it back. When she has two-faced as she whored herself to get back, but revenge isn’t the way to go when it carried a moral consequence. I’m very disappointed in Nozomi when she allowed temptation to get the better of her and Yorokobi was left no other choice.

Her father should have done something more to restrict her attitude, but there will always consequences and I'm glad that he was able to make it up for it. He realized this at the end before they committed suicide together. I couldn’t help it when I blamed it on the mother by default since Kagohara is doing everything to support the family while her parents don’t do anything else. Her mother is selfish when I saw her face when she cared nothing more, but herself and buying the expensive things. Dude…

I seemed to understand it very well, but like I say, it isn’t his fault from the beginning, but it came to end that got me more interesting. When it displayed something more that we don’t see again. It has a dramatic story balancing with the sex scene, but it’s perfect on my list to read. I am beginning to become more sick and tired of books that don’t make any senses, but I referred the tragic and dark anytime. Idol Decay fit my list.

Even though, it fits the ending… No one came to save them and their lives ending short for what they done and what they caused...

PS: At the end, her father was able to make up everything by doing the badass thing and getting revenge against the president of the company and backstabbing bitches within the final act. Now that was epic!

Third story, it carried more consequences as well when girls shouldn't go into places where their bodies will never be found. I actually got chills to my bones reading it, but it's the second on my list.
