Amazing work by ShindoL. This is one of the rare works where I enjoyed translating every line in the manga. I think ShindoL really has a talent for writing and stories, not just drawing pretty pictures.

For me personally, this story was more about getting older and regrets than just about fetishizing amputation. It really hit home for me.

I admit I'm not one for reading Shindol's more overtly crazy stories, since I'm not into gore, beast, etc.

But his stories like this, Double Nabe, Barier Free, etc. These stories I really like. They're still a bit dark compared to your average hentai, but ultimately light my feels furnace and make me smile...these are his masterpieces, imo.

This...it feels so right. The characters are so flushed out and feel real and the art and emotion meet at such a deep level. I don't know if this is a personal tale of perseverance but this definitely is a story worth remembering, adding to favorites.
The strong female lead actually stays strong from the first scene to the last unlike most others that try this formula, this one actually sticks with the crowd. Also to be noted is a unique twist on the less than popular amputee design, typically in order to get something of this flavor you must subject yourself to other genres that are less than savory and most likely don't fit your interest. 10/10 I hope for more in the near future.

This is something that amazes me with ShindoL: one one hand he can make some pretty nasty stuff, and on the other hand he can make some god-tier stories with really nice sex scenes even if the theme is serious, like quadruple amputation here or that story with the little brown war orphan girl and the Japanese photograph.

I definitely prefer the latter, those bitter-sweet feels are just too beautiful. Truly a must-read, despite the full censorship.
