If you're going to do that much talking you need some closer/clearer shots of their faces.

Sadly, i kind of agree with Koze... you could do with pacing it a little more. close up on face for talking. some more dynamic framing and speech bubbles.
A few lights wouldn't go amiss either, very dark and some shadows might improve the mood a bit?

Thanks for the insight, I was not thinking about close-ups with the dialog. I'll keep that in mind for the future. This set was made rather quickly to simply test the "cartoon" look. I wanted to see how the pictures looked with that filter.
