@yamatogun: I think she became crazy after all.

She became friends with the wolf (page 7), then the wolf acknowledged that some of the villagers raped her (page 10) and was enraged. He hurt some of villagers and was captured by them later (page 16), so the villagers killed him publicly (page 17). And the girl went mad.
