Sindoll might be one of my most favorite furry artists. It seems kind of silly to like someones art just because they're Japanese but it's hard to get over this art style. It mixes so well. >_<

I can't say I blame you, I find almost any Japanese work here to be of a much higher level of quality than most of the western stuff. Of course, this is due to the fact that the Japanese artists are actually making a living off of their works and selling them at a professional level while much of the Western stuff is produced by people in their spare time, than to them simply being Japanese. That, and in Japan people often seek technical mastery of their hobbies to a level that is not very common in the U.S. (I have no comment on any other Western countries, as I am not familiar enough with their cultures to make any sound observations on them.)

On-topic, I do enjoy Sindoll's style quite a bit, albeit no more than any other artists (Mostly Japanese :P) that I like.(And that is due to the incredible levels of skill they exhibit.)

Don't discount the selection factor: Having seen the average Japanese artist on Pixiv and elsewhere (like nijie.info), and the average Western artist on sites like FurAffinity (lots of non-furry artists post there) and Hentai Foundry, and tons of links and blogs, competence levels are about the same overall in each group. There's pros in both communities, too, so that doesn't mean anything. There's a lot of astounding Western artists that get no recognition. Of course I like lots of artists from all areas that aren't technically especially good, too. Sindoll is way above average in most respects, any way you cut it.

Also, there's unfortunately more than a few Western "artists" using g.e-hentai for personal visibility, because goodness knows their stuff doesn't merit it otherwise...

Japanese artists will always be better than Western artists, even if Western artists try to emulate their style. Japan already ruined MLP with their doujins and censoring, and there's not enough Western porn artists that use Japanese series.
