Against my better judgment, I attempted another translation. Because I have really shitty Japanese skills, it’s probably terrible, but I think the jist of the meaning is there, so I’ve decided to share it anyway.

›› I just say that because I'm sure there's people out there that could do a way better translation than me.
But none of them translated this lovely work, right? And I will assume that none of them were going to. In such a case, excellence is overrated, and "good enough" is better than good enough. There are thousands upon thousands of superb nosebleed-inducing works just waiting to be translated. So, if you can convey the gist of it, then do so. Judging from the number of "please translate this" comments I've read around here, your efforts will be appreciated as long as you aren't stepping on any other translators' toes. I say all this to myself as well, because I can read just enough Japanese to get the gist, yet I've never translated anything. Perhaps I should.
tl;dr: ご苦労さん and 感謝します!
