If you read the story, it's obvious that Shou (the white furry) had cancer (Tumor in the Brain, given the memory loss) before meeting Ken. Then Ken's father went in for cancer surgery.

The writing was just fine, you just didn't pay attention to the details. A very nice, sad story.

Let us consider this for a moment. He has brain cancer, that means that inside of his brain, there is a ball of flesh, growing out of control, a tumor. now... let's think for a moment, all your thoughts, emotions, memories... basically everything that makes you, you; resides in that fatty mass of noodles.

and now you've got this tumour that's just eating all that up and pushing against all of that as it swells and grows. and then you've got toxins from the medicine and radiation in the mix.

I don't thik it's that hard to believe that there would be memory loss.

The whole narrative kind of broke for me when the later panel showed Shou without hair on his head, presumable because of the chemo... but he still had fur all over his head (they are furries after all) and I was sort of slapped in the face by the absurdity of it.

The ending still made the tears flow, though.

just . . . I don't know what to say. I would not count this as a porn-comic because it only has one scene of sex & it doesn't last more than like 3 pages, but out of every comic I've seen on here, this is my favorite. It's not the hottest, it doesn't have the best story, it doesn't have the best dialogue, but it does have the best heart. I felt more for these 2 in 31 pages than I have for couples and characters that have had hundreds of pages
