Don't worry about the large file size. I almost always release at 600DPI, that way if someone does translate my shit, they've got plenty of breathing room. My belief is that you can always take something away, but once it's gone, it's gone.

The scans look pretty good too, I like that there's no ghosting from the other side's page. Personally I avoid that by placing a black piece of construction paper behind the page being scanned, instantly eliminates page bleeding.

Also 100% with ya, on not debinding my glued doujins. Supposedly popping them in a microwave for 30 seconds is supposed to loosen them up enough to pull pages and not ruin the cover/pages, for rebinding, but I've never actually tried it. The stapled ones, I just cut the staple with a nail clipper and slide in a new staple through the original holes, after scanning.

BTW, if Crossmake doujins are the standard B5 size, stop by your local comic book shop and buy "golden" bags & boards, to store them in. That's what I keep my B5 doujins in. Remember, "GOLDEN" boards & bags.

EDIT: Yeah, I hear a hair dryer works too. But, if you hold it for too long the cover will begin to brown.

Can someone post some more details/info on the "Chiffon" doujin mentioned a couple of times on this thread. I'm a little confused by what zerion said, so is it MILK COW or MOONZERO or some a new alias "MILKZERO"? Even if you have it but don't want to unbind then that's cool but possibly scan the cover for us? At least we have some starting in searching. Thanks!
