Apart from a time when he ran away in fear of his test results, Keitaros misadventures were to 90% the result of bad luck, not lack of trying. I'd even go as far as to say he is one of my favorite harem protagonists, because most of the love hijinks aren't a result of him being stupid or oblivious, but just being extremly unlucky.

The original source material contains endless instances of Naru whomping Keitaro. I was actually going to document them all in a lengthy log, as some sort of investigative lab report studying her violent and unnaturally strong abilities as well as Keitaro's inhuman resilience and survivability when walking away from wall-destroying trauma and mile-long punch flights. Then this piece ALSO details a hostile Naru.

Yet you people seem to think that a broken and beaten Shirai will be a result of Keitaro, not Naru? Which would ALSO require that he suddenly goes hero, is suddenly a white knight on crusade, after spending several volumes as a giver-upper.

Many male protags (of the /a/ variety) are a pussy in some way, at least for some of their series. Harem leads moreso. And then Keitaro takes that up yet another half-notch, as was Akamatsu's intent.

I'm not some kind of "girl power" fag, and I don't get NTR, but historical precedence easily dictates odds that are contrary to what I'm seeing suggested.
