It's a nice banter of good hentai, but I fail to find this even remotely entertaining. Is it just me, or does the vast majority of hentai consist of any random female placed in a conveniently perilous situation, slap some kind of thing in between her legs, and she becomes the mother of all sluts? Moreso than not, I like Valkyries. They above all women are calculated and dignified and show prowess in their line of duty. They're logical and robust, and remain steadfast to their mission.

I almost thought something similar of the Magical Girl stories, as some of the girls prior to being raped actually held some countenance and could have slain their assailants, but instead were made slaves to their hormones/aphrodisiacs/mind control and are now nothing but a silly excuse for a cosplaying slut. I guess I have a weird fetish. I like strong willed women. Capable of slaying anyone who would make the sorry excuse of confusing them with a sack of meat, and are at least capable of making up their minds as to who they love. I'd love to see a conflicting story of such women, where some are in fact pitted against their own raging hormones and lose, becoming monsters themselves, while a few manage to overcome the dizzying effects of their assailants. (It's been done before, in small doses here and there. But the girl always loses.)

Otherwise the entire genre that calls itself hentai becomes a joke. Similarly fashioned after its predecessors, everything blends and loses meaning.

@craigj All I'm saying is that "mainstream" hentai itself has become mediocre by doing the same thing to every kind of girl, regardless of her title. Because it's hentai I expect sex and submission to happen, no doubt, and because of this hentai is at liberty to have far more compelling stories than tasking a random pervert to break a woman's armor with tentacles. When you break the barrier of censored media, your creative potential is maximized. You can write stories that go beyond what people expect from mainstream media. You can even honor the duty of a Valkyrie, even as she faces sexual adversity. — But to make the point of a story to simply "break" a female is just underwhelming, cliche and tried. The genre (hentai in this case) then becomes one big masculinity/sausage jerk-off festival. To paraphrase: a joke.

What never happens in the mainstream makes for an even better story. But I think you're confusing mass media with mainstream hentai, which I'm not talking about. Anything can potentially become mainstream. Mass media is what your family watches on television, and I doubt any major network will broadcast superhero yaoi.

@bitcruncher I get what you're saying, but this is based on a game where the entire point is to play as the villain and dominate a Valkyrie harem. Valkyrie submission is this franchise's reason for existence, so it's a little odd judging all of hentai that it bothered to fulfill its own fetish. Wanting strong females characters is fine, but this is exactly the wrong genre for that. It would be like turning to yaoi for indomitable, invulnerable men being badass action heroes. These genres exist in the first place to show what never happens in the mainstream.
