Well meant, but nah. If you're not a linguist and/or using a translation in some study where the exact wording counts for your argument, the job of a translator is also to translate in a way, that the result sounds natural in the target language. And while of course not everyone (me included) is a native speaker of English, resulting in many things sometimes sounding stiff, unnatural or simply being grammatically incorrect (that's where QC comes into play), stiff or illiterate wording alone is really not what's being criticized here by most people I think. For a QCer to be able to do anything, at least the grammatical relations/semantic roles have to be correctly transferred.

You guys should know that it's not always the translator's fault. Often, the case is that a translator is too busy trying to simply get the lines in the desired language, so they overlook how illiterate it all is. It's usually the typesetter's job, at that point, to take over and change it as best they can once they start leveling the text. If not them, then the QC after. If you don't have a Quality Checker, then holy shit-- GET ONE. You should always have a QC... ALWAYS. If you do have a QC, and they somehow still produce this shit, it's obvious their sense of "quality" is utterly terrible, and you need to find a new one.
