The vast majority of hentai plots are a bit silly but otherwise they wouldn't be able to get to the sex as quickly most of the time. Although, truthfully, a lot of weird crap happens in real life that makes you wonder sometimes. That whole story in the news a few years ago about the guy calling the MacDonalds and getting the manager to strip a woman sounds about as realistic as some hentai but it actually happened. Really, without silly plots, hentai just wouldn't get the job done as well as it does. I think the only time the plot really fails is when a seemingly strong character is broken too easily, particularly with male characters. The "woman overwhelmed by sex" plot device is too useful for hentai to not use but when other characters around the heroines want to save them, you kinda expect them to do more than helplessly cry, at least until they see the heroine has been broken completely. That's why this ending works but something like NNN's doesn't in my opinion. The guy here just sees broken cheating slut, not a girl he needs to save. The teacher in NNN knows he's innocent, knows the girls need help, but apparently just wilts at his enemies' feet. It's just not satisfying.

Sorry but Sanbun's works tire me. The women and their husbands are always so coward, pitiful and pathetic and the stories are always so vanilla, they make me so annoyed that I feel they deserve all that happens to them (although I am biased to say that, as NTR has never been a favorite genre of mine). I wished they force-feminized the husband, completely mind-broke the wife and made them both sex slaves/prostitutes, then I would like to see that.
