@arashiodori: Worse than that. The very existence of these near-rewrites may prevent someone from spending his time to do a real translation. Wrong as it is, most of the recognition goes to the first to release, as his version - no matter how crap - will be the one being reposted all over the web.

I agree the translation is not good but the food example is silly and out of place, it completely ignores the fact people can't impose their will and taste over translators so they have accept what they have been given, unless they pay for it.
