I realize that most of these artworks are already present in another Magna Carta artbook uploaded here, however from what I understand, that is more of a compilation of arts, while this (and one to follow) is the original.

800 x 1200 really is pretty small these days for scans of high-quality artbooks. Not quite thumbnails, but definitely smaller than desired for making good desktops. HTK's books Oxide and Oxide II were scanned & made available by DPG at 2000x3000 back in 2007, and I have a few of the MagnaCarta images from these collections at 3200x4200.
