Because for all I know, this might be based on some crazy storyline where one of them can abduct others, thus making this last page the realization that a horrible prank has been pulled on the both of them since it was actually a tertiary character CONTROLLING her that had fucked him this whole time!
D) They couldn't think of a good ending, and decided to cut it as brutally short as possible in what time they had available. But it's cool. The art is still pleasant over 90% of the time. I can deal with it. Just not the last page. >:(
