First of all, learn some manners
Second of all, the images are full of ringing, halo and jagged blown out lines which is a sign of not only an aggressive resample filter but probably additional sharpening, to create such a mess. Yes it is a mess when viewed from a tablet which squeezes the lines into such a small screen, now viewing it on a normal screen may be acceptable but it doesn't change the problems.
Third of all, i know how to treat this stuff, luckily, so you can enjoy this for yourself.

I think I was pretty polite to someone who showed up wrong twice.
The "korean raw" is literally just the Japanese raw upscaled 2.45x, destroying tones and giving the linework a glossy-blobby waifu2x look — something that I perhaps wrongly assumed to be obvious.
Gleaning the ideal "real raw" from a heavily compressed and web-optimized digital magazine is closer to an act of futility when the tankobon version will likely release less compressed, as well as having less aggressive censoring.

I showed up wrong? Calling this a bad resample and artifact mess is a simple fact, i don't remember i did a similar comment in the past. I didn't care about the korean raws, i simply used them as an example since from the tablet they were not a mess to look at.
If you don't want to acknowledge a fact, you think you were polite based on a event that never happened, and you think it's futility to clean a problem in an image you worked on, you are welcome i guess.
I tend to clean stuff on my own, i don't really point at problems, this time was an exception to make a report and see if it was accepted for others' sake. I won't do it again.

I'll break it down since you don't seem to be reading closely.
1. The Chinese raw wasn't used, the Japanese raw is linked in the uploader comment.
2. The Korean version looks like shit due to the upscale, not "clearly better" as you stated.
That's how you were wrong twice — I'm surprised you attempted to gloss over that as an "event that never happened". Being told to learn some manners in response to pointing out things that were immediately obvious was pretty comedic.

As mentioned, the magazine raws are heavily compressed and could be better, I don't think anyone is refuting that. Cleaning up the pages is closer to an act of futility because the tankobon release will likely be the definitive version for reasons also stated. A better version of the raw will appear in time — and until that time, the team would rather spend that time on working on other things that have yet to be translated. In a way I understand your gripes with the raw, it's simply not a priority because the work done on it would be eventually rendered obsolete when a new baseline becomes available. Hopefully that is clear enough.

That last part was indeed the information i needed, as i didn't know it was going to get a better release, not that i know what the real source of these images really is.
To end this on a positive note, excluding works that are going to get improved, i'm open to clean some stuff that will have a different fate.
