I figure it's for people that want to translate or crop. Redrawing after cleaning floating text is a pain and it's easier to get a good crop if you don't need to worry about the bubbles. There's good reason to provide a textless version and this is a better way to do it than having two different galleries every time clogging the feed

@Formaerotica: Yo, this is actually a straight reference to canon.
