It's pure wish fulfillment. But it's a wish I'm betting many of us have. That Glaceon sequence in particular is one that I thought, please let there be just one more where we get to see the kid to make the fantasy complete. And my wish was more than granted.

Edit: And then Gamma did it again with the Sylveon sequence when I thought, if this ends with her in a wedding dress I'm just going to be so happy.
