This whole thing is absolute genius. I'm an experienced Photoshop worker with formal training and during my college years I've tutored Japanese, were I to attempt a similar guide I would write things just as they are here but I would be hard pressed to come up with anything nearly as thorough. This demonstrates incredible skill, effort, and love for the community here.

I think I've read this somewhere and the Jp>ENG part is just awesome. I like the less literal approach as well, but sadly, a lot of people still get off of awkward literal translations.

Once, somebody complained to me about translating いく！ to 'I'm cumming!' instead of 'I'm going!'. I never laughed so hard in my entire life. While, yeah, in some contexts it might be wise to put 'going' there, it sounds as if you were literally going places lol (and I've seen some stories incorporate just this, but they are rather rare and far inbetween).

The translation suggestions are awful. While I agree that the language needs to be adapted, and not just translated word for word, his suggestions here are just wrong. Making the guys sound like 50 year old pervs or rednecks, isn't exactly something you want to see in a manga. The language should be natural, and not too regional or with too much slang.
