The series technically only has 30 chapters with a definitive ending, the uploads kind of screwed it over by not keeping his chapter numbering the same and just releasing them as is. The last chapter is where Haru and Yumi have lots of raw sex and confirm their love for each other and then she asks if he’d like to have her sleep again with someone and he doesn’t answer and then it has a title drop. Everything after that is up in the air canon wise since technically it’s all bonus material of dubious canonicity. Of course we can expect it to be canon (except the IF route from Christmas) for the most part but technically NT00 can come out and say any or all of it is not. This includes 99% of Jin stuff, the development of Yura, and the most recent Christmas releases. Once again uploads on here and elsewhere put everything together and make no mention of the actual canon series ending so it makes sense you didn’t know that.

Yea the updated art is nice and all but not really interested in art without a story. Already know what happens. I'm basically just waiting to see how the author recovers from his last chapter fumble. This is nice to look at but it's like eh.

At best it gives more material for people doing rewrite/alternate sequels or whatever like that one that got released recently was decently done. People got interested in this author because his stories were interesting. The art being nice is a bonus but nice looking hentai girls are a dime a dozen. Its the narrative of who she is that gets the dick hard and makes the heart skip a beat.

My thoughts on the remake are that I really appreciate the slight changes NT00 have made, while also showing his improved art to make all the old Yumi CG even hotter. Though I definitely feel less excitement since the overall plot points are largely unchanged and I know what's coming, I'll be looking forward to his christmas chapter (ch24 in the old version) and perhaps all the Yura stuff either remade as official canon or just continuing from the events of last Christmas.

I'd say its likely he redoes the second half too since it's free money. It was obvious the part he got pooped on was making more story since his art just keeps improving but the story deteriorated for months, and frankly the art is the easy part but he did craft a great story for a long long time. He should have continued that mina story it seemed like he let ideas from that spill over to yumi since shes so wildly popular just using her instead was likely to make the sales. I can imagine most of these artists dont make that much so any profiteering they can do is likely to happen. Mans gotta eat.

Tbh he should leave the yura stuff as alternate as opposed to official canon. The first story ends on a better note for him to make the yura stuff canon hed have to continue writing it in a way that doesnt leave a bunch of the fan base sour over trying to go halfsies.

He finished the first 30 chapters and this gallery is the remake/complete edition for the first 30 chapters with updated art. So far the story has stayed largely the same as the original. Now the story did continue after the first 30 chapters but nt00 decided to do the remake before continuing those chapters. Hopefully he still continues that Yumi series after the last Christmas chapter after this remake but that’s up to NT00.

Is it just me or are these releases kind of underwhelming? They're nice touch ups to be sure but maybe since theres no story to accompany it theres nothing to be felt. On top of it the pace is really slow too. I'd rather he continue either this story or mina.

Yeah personally the excitement levels for me as a reader are definitely way less than when we were getting chapters of Yumi and Jin, with the constant feeling of “wtf is going to happen next”. It’s the nature of the beast I suppose, since we’ve already seen the story once so unless something new is happening it’ll feel like this. Also NT00 is being very faithful to the original, which is fine as I think the story itself is good, just that we probably won’t see new story developments until he finishes this and goes back to continue the current Yumi story.
