Istead of creating a completly new gallery you could have just updated the old one.

To update a gallery click on "My Uploads", click on the "Manage" button of the gallery you want to update and on "Create New Version". Now you can add new pages remove old ones etc. When down publish as usual and the new gallery will replace the old one.
