Zangya doesn't need to sleep, because she is a Precursor Hera-jin. She'll outlast the others. Vulcans were designed after her people. They can go years without sex. So it is not the lack of sex that is getting at her. She is in love with Gohan and not being with him is doing it to her and that is why she cannot get any sleep. Everytime she closes her eyes, all she sees is Gohan. She wants to be Gohan's number 1. That is why she is in the state she is in, but she will outlast the others.

If I'm being completely honest, after a month of build up, I was kind of hoping for a bigger payoff when they finally reached December. Admittedly, Videl jumping Zangya as soon as it struck midnight and going at it right there on the kitchen floor DID feel appropriate. But I would've liked a longer epilogue, maybe spanning a week of Videl and Zangya going absolutely nuts to compensate for their lost month and ravenously going at it with Gohan and anyone else within arms reach as they worked out all their pent up frustrations. It would've been a fun, sexy way of showing that the lesson of moderation that Videl was hoping to impart at the start of the challenge was completely disregarded as the two 'winners' sought to OVERCOMPENSATE for their lost month of sex.
